Vitrum, Cambridge

Vitrum in Cambridge required a lighting specification that could support both commercial performance and long-term flexibility across the building’s shell and core areas, circulation spaces and Cat B environments.

Orlight supplied a coordinated package combining NEBULA recessed architectural downlights, ORLWP4 WEATHERPACK luminaires, ORLINE suspended linear lighting, ORLLED600 UGR panels and AQUASPOT recessed fittings. The NEBULA and AQUASPOT downlights provided clean, controlled illumination across key architectural areas, while ORLINE suspended luminaires added continuous linear lighting for a refined workplace finish.

ORLWP4 WEATHERPACK fittings were incorporated for back-of-house and service areas, delivering robust and reliable illumination where durability was essential. ORLLED600 UGR panels supported areas requiring uniform, low-glare lighting, while EXIT-LUME suspended emergency signage and ORL1551U emergency luminaires helped complete the compliance-led elements of the scheme.

Together, the specification delivered a balanced lighting package for Vitrum, combining architectural quality, performance, emergency provision and practical durability across a modern Cambridge commercial development.
