Trinity House is a specialist biotech and life sciences facility designed to support modern research environments with high-quality, purpose-built workspace. Positioned between Oxford and Milton Keynes, the development required a lighting package capable of meeting the technical expectations of laboratory-led spaces while maintaining a refined architectural finish.
Orlight supplied lighting for the communal, shell and core areas, combining emergency provision, utility lighting and architectural illumination across the scheme. GUARDIAN and ALTO emergency luminaires supported compliance requirements, while ORLWP WEATHERPACK fittings provided robust lighting for service and back-of-house areas.
For the main architectural lighting, the specification included NEBULADQ high-powered downlights in suspended and surface-mounted formats, supported by MAC450 surface luminaires, LED455 circular fittings and ORLINE DUO linear lighting. The CMF-DUO curved LED panel added both upward and downward illumination, helping create a softer and more considered lighting effect within key areas.
Additional ORLTE6024EVO LED strip and ORLRPVALUHS profile elements completed the package, supporting continuous linear detail and clean integration across the development. Together, the products delivered a coordinated lighting solution balancing performance, compliance, visual comfort and architectural quality within a high-specification life sciences environment.
