150 Fenchurch Street

Located in the heart of the City of London, 150 Fenchurch Street has been refurbished to bring its hospitality offering up to modern standards. Orlight were selected to deliver a complete lighting package that balanced functionality, durability, and design refinement across guest and communal areas.

The scheme made extensive use of ORL1005 Twist and Lock downlights in black, specified in both standard and emergency formats. These compact IP20 fittings provided consistent 3000K illumination and a sleek architectural finish throughout the guest floors.

For bathrooms and wet zones, ShowerSpot recessed downlights in white RAL 9016 were introduced. With an IP65 rating and frosted diffuser, they ensured reliable, discreet performance while maintaining a clean design aesthetic.

Additional detail lighting was delivered with the EVO LED strip system, supplied with IP65 protection, CRI90 output and integrated into aluminium housing profiles with square diffusers. This provided subtle ambient layers of light, enhancing the overall atmosphere of the hotel interiors.

Through the careful integration of architectural downlights, wet-room solutions, and linear detailing, Orlight delivered a cohesive lighting scheme that supports both guest comfort and operational performance at this landmark hospitality destination.
