A Fully Managed Bespoke Design Process
Every bespoke product follows a carefully structured development process, ensuring quality, consistency, and complete project transparency throughout.
Stage 1 – Consultation & Concept Development
The process begins with a detailed consultation period where project requirements, technical specifications, and design objectives are established. Preliminary product renders are created alongside key considerations such as dimensions, lumen output, colour temperature, beam angles, and diffuser options, helping to shape the overall project vision.
Stage 2 – Engineering & Technical Development
Once the concept is approved, the project moves into the engineering phase. During this stage, Orlight’s technical specialists refine the product design, finalise manufacturing methodologies, and develop detailed technical drawings and product renders ahead of production.
This collaborative approach between design and engineering teams ensures each fixture is both visually refined and technically robust.
Stage 3 – Final Production Sample
Before full manufacturing begins, a complete production sample is created for review and approval. Final datasheets, product sign-off, and manufacturing preparation are completed to guarantee the highest standards of quality, performance, and consistency across every fixture produced.
